The Museum Loans Service provides a rich and varied educational resource collection for all key stages. Resources have been developed to provide focus and support for National Curriculum topics and QCA Schemes of Work.

We aim to stimulate interest, prompt interaction, provide inspiration, curiosity and fun to enhance the learning experience. The 2500 object collection includes handling and cased objects covering natural history, social history, costume, models, sculpture and artwork.

A van delivery and collection service is available on a half term loan basis, full term loans can be accommodated by special request to secondary schools. There is a core allocation of 10 items per school, however teachers can visit the Museum Loans site and collect a personal allocation of 10 items each.

The service is FREE to Doncaster LEA schools, subscriptions or ''pay per loan'' are available for non LEA schools and other interested parties please contact the Museum Loans Service for details.

Opening times are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm - visits strictly by appointment only. Free car parking and loading area are available, stores have limited wheelchair access.

For Health and Safety reasons, the Reminiscence sets are NOT recommended for use in schools.
